$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install mock 

mock is installed in your system.

Make ensure the mock package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mock *

You will get with mock package name, version, architecture and description in a table

mock package basic information:
